QoS not displaying any data.

Howdy,

I have NetFlow collecting data from 3 different Cisco routers (all 2800s).

NetFlow has picked up all of the policy maps for traffic classification and traffic shaping from all three routers, however the counters are all showing zero.

Is there something I need to enable to make this work? Thanks.

NPM 9.5 SP3 and NTA 3.5 SP1

FYI, polling of CBQoS from subinterfaces has been fixed in 3.5 SP2 Hotfix 1. You can download this hotfix from your customer portal.

The answer to enabling something is no, it is just an SNMP query like anything else.

One issue is that you need to monitor the interface the service policy is on. So another words if you have a subinterface , like what is common with frame and MPLS, you must monitor the physical interface where the service policy is applied if you have it there that is.

In my netflow config I have to monitor the subinterface to get the netflow traffic and the physical to get the QOS.

One device of the three only has two gig interfaces, and I'm monitoring both. There is a classification policy on one, and a shaping policy on the other. Both Policies show up in the NetFlow pages, but both are all 0.

Now I know one of the policies has a match list, and I can see heaps of matches on the list, so the policy appears to be working so there should be data.

Ah well, unless there are any more ideas I might have to log a ticket.

I have the same problem. I opened a ticket and they told me they've got a bug on file for this and it will need to be fixed in a service pack.
