APM port/component monitor on Summary page

Hi.

We have this page on our Servicedesk showing important Orion issues. I have now created a APM monitor that gives me all queues on my Trend Micro IMSS scanners. I would very much like a summary component that shows all nodes and values for a selected poller. Now I must click in on each nodes APM to see this - and with seven IMSS that is not easy. I can see that there is something wrong if it goes warning or critical but I would like to see if we have queues on one page.

I need a summary component showing

Componentname
Nodename - Statistic data

I would like to choose which component I will watch - and the nodes showing is handled by the Limitations on the page.

I guess I could try to rewrite the AllPortMonitors.ascx to do this - but if there is a easier way that would be great!

Top XX Components by Statistic Data

"To get the most use out of this resource, use the filter to display data from specific sources. For example, you can create a resource that displays statistics only from Exchange Server monitors. For more information, see "SWQL Syntax" in the Orion Application Performance Monitor Administrator Guide."

In your original post, you wanted a way to show the statistics only from your Mail Queue component monitors. I would do this:

1. Add the Top XX Components by Statistics Data resource to the summary page

2. Click Edit in the resource.

3. Add the filter: Monitor.Name = 'Mail Queue Size'

4. Change the name of the resource to "Top XX Mail Queue Sizes".

Hi.

Would there be any chance that this resource could be added in Content Sharing Zone? We are in desperat need of seeing a mailqueue found by APM on seven servers in one view. And even better if this could be plotted in a graph with the queue for each server. But, the statistics data is the most important.

This would really made our days easier. Now we have to watch if the whole application goes warning or critical and then click and click in to the component to see the stats data.

Unfortunately, resources can't be easily added between releases.

Hi.

I was hoping this was added in APM2SP2 or NPM91SP1, but it does not look like it is.

Am I right or did I just not find it? If not, do you have any time estimat? 9.2 or 10?
