NCM error on Orion Website

Im having a problem displaying NCM data on my Orion page. Im getting the "bad data" error when attempting to display. I found another posted related to it but posting to a new DB didnt fix the problem.

The Orion server cannot access the Orion NCM information service. The exact error was 'Bad Data. '

When i Click on credintials button to add the logon i get this error

Im thinking it migh tie back to the beta when at one point I was able to go in and add the credentials but it wont let me anymore.

i also installed new Orionwebsite but it didnt correct either.

any suggestions.

Let me ask the obvious is the information Service Running?

Could you check the following?

1. Is the web site running in the context of Network Service account? To check this you can go to IIS, open the properties for NCM website, see what Application Pool the site is running under.(Home Directory Tab; application Pool, Confirm what the setting is, usually its DefaultAppPool)
Close this window & now under IIS, navigate to Application Pools>DefaultAppPool, right click & go to properties of DefaultAppPool, select Identity Tab.
By default the option should be Predefined - Network Service. If it's not, then try selecting that and save the settings. Restart IIS and try again. That may resolve the issue.

2. If the site is running under "Network Service" context then it is possible that the access to key store was removed. To reassign permissions to allow Network Service account access to the key store then go to the command prompt & run the following command from the .net Framework folder
aspnet_regiis -pa "NetFrameworkConfigurationKey" "Network Service"

If that does not solve the issue, could you post your \Inetpub\SolarWinds\OrionWeb.log file ?

I did reset under the .netframework ver2 but no joy, Ive posted the log here
