Create Device Group Via IP Range?

Hi all,

My Organization has NCM 7.5 and in it I am trying to create a group that changes dynamically based on any living node found within an IP Range / Subnet. However, it seems that when I put in my Regex for the subnets I want NCM to scan for devices, it not only returns a short list, but an incorrect one as well. As I am new to this product I was wondering if the community could let me know if perhaps they see any mistakes or there is something I am not considering.

Are the devices already in the NCM/NPM database?  This will only work for devices already listed on IP that are in the database as monitored IPs.  If you need to discover the devices then you need to use discovery central.
