Variables in E-Mail subject

I am sure I must be doing something wrong.  Should the following line work as an E-mail subject?

Cirrus Configuration Manager - Difference Detected ${SysName}

I'd like to be able to send email alerts to the network team and CC ${SysContact}, which would be the email address of the device's local admin.

Currently, the subject line within the Real-Time Config Change Detection feature does not execute macros/variables.  This is a great feature request for a future release of Cirrus.
