SQL Server CPU Utliziation peaks high

Hi,

We have Orion NPM 9.1 SP3, Netflow 3.0 SP4, APM 2.0 SP2, Wireless monitoring and NCM 5.0 SP2 installed on a physical server where as the SQL Server had been installed on different physical machine which had several other production application databases.

The problem we were having is the CPU peaks up on the SQL Server for only orion database up to 60 - 70% due to which other production application databases preformance was very slow.

I am not sure what is causing the problem but when I stopped all the services in Orion then CPU utilization on SQL Server decreased to 60%.

Can any one have the answer for this?

There are way too many variables for us to troubleshoot this on Thwack, it would be best for you to open a Support ticket to further discuss and diagnose.
