Netflow statistics inquiry

Hello:

I would like to increase the netflow statistics retention time on my current netflow environment. Currently it is set for 2 hours (so i get to see 2 hours worth netflow info), however i would like to increase visibility to several hours. My question is, how would increasing this netflow setting affect my Database(I also have NPM monitoring hundreds of network nodes and 50Gbytes of free storage on my SQL server.)?

Any input would be appreciated.

2 hours is the maximum setting for the "as collected" NetFlow stats. That does not mean that you only can see the last 2 hours, that is just where data roll up starts. The as collected NetFlow data takes up a lot of space so if you were to increase it that would eat up your 50G quickly.
