automatically disable unused ports

Hi all,

I want to create a script, that disable ports that are unused for more then three month.

With the command "show interface" you can see the last output. On the basis of this it is possible to find out, which port is unused for more then three month.

I don't know how to write the script.

May anybody help me in this case, please?

Orion installation includes a report writer tool which should help to get this data as a report.

Here are the steps to achieve the expected results.

1.Navigate to Start-->All programs-->SolarWinds Orion-->Alerting,reporting and Mapping-->Report Writer

Here is a screen shot of the filter conditions to get the desired output in the attachment link.

First condition
---------------
Please give the NodeID of the device in question.To find the node id,open the database and look for the Nodes table.

Last condition
--------------
You could give the date according to the requirement

I installed the NPM trial to test the Report Writer, cause I have the NCM. I have problems to find the "Records where Administrative Status" and "Interface Last Change". May you please help me in finding these things?

Basically look for the Interfaces table in the database to get the filter conditions framed according to the requirement.

I also made an screenshot of my Report Writer. I don't have the possibility to select "Interfaces".

Do I make something wrong?
