APM: Application Poller Timeout

Hello,

If one or more Component Monitors in an Application do not respond within the value set in the "Polling Timeout" field, does APM immediately try again, or does it just change the Application's status, and wait for the next Polling Interval?

Different component monitor types have different retry mechanisms but once a component monitor fails (including any possible retries) there is no wait for next poll. The application is marked as down. So to answer your question, the retry is immediate.

Thanks. Is there any documentation that defines the retry mechanisms for the different componenet monitor types?

No formal documentation for retry intervals exists. Is there a particular component monitor type you're interested in?

Currently, the HTTP & HTTPS Monitors in User Experience, and the TCP Port Monitor in Network Protocol.
