Cannot backup databases

I have logged on to SQL management studio as Windows authentication and a the default Solarwinds user. When I try to backup the databases it states "permission denied in database"

How to I back it up? What permission is it looking for? I tried changing the "sa" password but I cannot.

The sa account should be able to back up the database. The fact that you can't change the password for sa does that mean you don't have the correct sa password?

Yes, I do not have the sa password

Is there a DBA available? You'll need a correct username and password.
