Multiple Polling Engines

Question

Hi!

I have a server with Orion SL2000 (exploited by half). I would install a new polling engine in other country (the same network & domain).. My question is.. can i reuse or redistribuite the SL2000 to other servers or i need to purchase more licenses? o simply i can install the product and use the same database but other PE?

Bryan has a good point . EOC was built for that use case.

Norkuh...a word of caution.  If you plan on putting the poller in another country but keeping the db server with your SL2000 your probably in for a bad experience.  I would recommend keeping the new poller on the same LAN as the db server for best results.  If not you'll see graph gapping.  The only other option is also buying EOC and put a SL2000 server and a new db server in that other country and use EOC to gather the data for the 2 servers.
