Hi all,
I've just been tasked with linking a few of our Wi-Fi access points we have on a network topology map within Solarwinds to a seperate map that is a floor plan of the building the topology map is of with the access points located in the correct places on said map.
Now all I need to do is somehow link the 10 AP LED's we have in the network topology map to the seperate floor plan map I created. So whenever I click on an AP on the network toppology map, it will take me to the floor plan map so my team can see which AP is down, and exactly where it is located in the building, rather than having a seperate LED in the corner to click on. Does that make sense?
At the moment we have 10 LED AP's showing on the network topology map and then I have created a seperate LED that takes you to the floor plan map. We basically want to delete this 1 LED and just make all of our 10 LED maps point towards the floor plan map instead.
Looking at the Atlas I could make 10 copies of my floor plan map LED and then rename them the correct asset ID's and replace them with the 10 LED's we already have. But I was just wondering if there was a much simpler way to doing this?
Many Thanks in advance
Chris
