How to - Use Loopback

Hey Forum Members:
Net Guru and Sav have given us a great idea about using loopback (in different posts) for discovery in Orion System Manager and Netflow Traffic Analyzer. I wonder if we could use this post to get some details on how we would use it and if it is a best practice.
