NODE up and down alerts to NOC

Dear All,

I am new to Solarwind Orion NPM, i would like to configure that when a node goes down or comes up our NOC should get an alert, how do i do this ?

Hi Ab,

You could open an Advanced Alert Manager tool which is available under Start-->All Programs-->Solarwinds Orion-->Alerting,Reporting and Mapping-->Advanced Alert Manager.Then you could select configure alerts where you will find a pop up with a bunch of options.You could go for the option "Alert me when a node goes down",also you could select edit to add emails or sounds or more options available alerts.

Hi Thanks,

I have configured it, however NOC is getting email alerts only link goes down however when the link comes up they are not getting the alert, i have checked in advance alert i have enabled the option to send email to NOC for up and down but still they are getting only the link goes down not getting alert when the link comes up
