NPM/NCM Integration Problems

I've installed NPM 9.1 on a new server and then added NCM v5. I'm trying to get the integration working.

1.) When I click on the NCM link at the top of the NPM page, I get Page Cannot be Found. If I open a new tab and type the link to NCM, it work fine. I have changed the settings under Conneciton Information under NCM Settings.

2.) On the NPM home page - Last 5 Config Changes and Orion NCM Config History show errors. The Orion server cannot access the Orion NCM information service. The exact error was 'System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: Bad Data.......

Any ideas out there????

What did you specify for the Website URL?

Can you go to your NCM server and verify that the SolarWinds Orion NCM Information Service is started?

If I open a browser and go directly to the NCM website it works. I did specify that it is running on a different IP than NPM.

What exact string did you specify for the website URL field in Admin > NCM connection settings? If this is not specified as the full URL (e.g., http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8888/) it may not work.

I added http://, before it was just the IP. Now that works. Issue #1 resolved.
