SAM monitor not monitoring all nodes in assign group

I have a SAM monitor assigned to a group of about 40 nodes. After assigning it to the group it will only show about half of the nodes are assigned to the monitor template. I have checked the group and the group sees all of the nodes but the monitor only see half. Any suggestions?

just curious how long you waited between assigning the template to the group and checking if everything was assigned. I found out I had to wait at least 15 minutes after assigning a template to a group before it would show assigned. My group only had a few servers so maybe the group of 40 is taking longer to populate everything?

I initially assigned it and after weeks it still only showed a limited amount of the nodes in the group. I removed it from the group, double-checked the dynamic query being used and reassigned and its been since last Thursday again only showing about half of the nodes assigned in the group.

weird, I haven't seen that before. I'd only recommend going to support at this point.

Are you running the latest version of SAM? I'd seen that before at two clients when the feature first rolled out and there is an item in the 6.4 release notes indicating they resolved a bug relating to the groups and sam templates. If you arent fully updated I would start there, if not push it to support and they may not have fixed it as well as they had hoped.
