Uploading MIB on Orion server to receive traps from Oracle Enterprise Manager

Hi Team,

We have a requirement to integrate Oracle Enterprise Manager(OEM) events to Orion Server. We are planning to configure OEM to send SNMP traps to Orion. Please let us know how to upload OEM MIB in Orion Server.We have heard that the MIB needs to be sent to SolarWinds vendor to get it uploaded which will take long time.

In this case please let me know if we can receive OEM traps in Orion server and convert the same into events/alerts without uploading OEM MIB.Please provide some insights.

U can send the traps to Solarwinds server definitely and see whether thats giving useful information.. then u can create an alert out of it using the Orion Log Viewer Module...

If u intend to poll the OID from the MIB then u need to send to support with details and they will help in getting it part of the MIB....
