New to Solarwinds

Hi all -

Anybody know if SolarWinds can display information about active VPN tunnels ? (More specifically, tunnels terminating on Cisco IOS platforms.)

That depends on how you have the VPN tunnels set up. If you're using a set of crypto-maps only and not actual interfaces (i.e. Tunnel0-x with keepalives), then I would have to guess no.

SolarWinds is a fairly basic NMS, but what it handles it does extremely well.

I use it to track my GRE Tunnel Interfaces. It helps me to find out how the mesh is doing and which tunnels are hogged up.
