I am running NPM 9.1 SP4 and APM 2.0 SP2
I have a few hundred Application Monitors setup.
The server will run fine for a day or three then the System Event Log fills up with "Application Popup" as the source and event ID 333.
An I/O operation initiated by the Registry failed unrecoverably. The Registry could not read in, or write out, or flush, one of the files that contain the system's image of the Registry.
This is on an HP Blade. I have rebuilt the database from scratch and installed this same setup on a standalone tower with the same results.
I opened a ticket with SolarWinds and the support rep had me change my monitored application polling freq and timeout.
BEFORE
Polling Freqency = 60
Polling Timeout = 300
AFTER
Polling Freqency = 180
Polling Timeout =150
That seemed to increase the time the server would function correctly by a day or so.
HELP PLEASE!!
Thanks,
David
