HP DL380p Gen8 Had HW Health polling, now its gone - but other DL380s still have it?

Really weird issue. I've got 7 HP DL380p Gen8's, that I'm monitoring via NPM. When I list the resources, I had the hardware health as an option on all servers. Today I noticed two of them show hw health undefined. I logged into the servers and tried restarting snmp, updated the HP insight agents and a few other things. I see the hw health in the HP System Management Homepage web but SW is unable to poll hw health on these 2 servers. The others are still reporting temp, power supplies everything. Now when I do a list resources on those two weird dl380s, HW health polling is no longer an option...No idea what happened or what changed, but does anyone have any suggestions what to try?

My recommendation would be to uninstall the HP SIM Agent from the server and download/install the latest version. Surprisingly this has resolved many similar issues for other users. If that doesn't work it would be worth doing a MIB walk of the device to see if the HP OIDs are even present. You should see in the MIB walk OIDs starting with 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.

Oh, and the hw details section on those two nodes shows this:

For kicks , I deleted one of the two dl380s that was no longer polling hw health, and re-added it - still no hw health polling option in list resources.

Do you have Server & Application Monitor (SAM) installed? If so, what version? Server Hardware Health Monitoring of HP Proliant Servers is a function of SAM, not NPM.

Yep SAM is installed - 6.1.0 - I guess this thread needs to move SAM forum?
