I am looking at potentially rebuilding our whole SolarWinds environment near the end of the year.
We are currently running SAM, NPM, and IPAM in three separate data repositories (though they all live on the same SQL box).
We are wanting to integrate the three databases so that our web console is more of a single pane of glass... This is going to be a pain, as I think the only way to do this is removing one product at a time, and reinstalling a product so that it points to the same database -- for example: Remove SAM and reinstall with the database in the same db as NPM.
That, or standing up a fresh environment with temporary keys that will run in tandem with the current environment, then rediscover the network once all products are installed to the same database. I'm curious if anyone here has had a similar experience or had to re-implement their products, and how they went about it?
