Template to simply send out email

I need to see if anyone has developed a template that will simply send out an email from an Exchange system and if there is no error than it passes.

This is precisely what the MAPI User Experience Monitor is for. While this hasn't been added to any specific template, you can add it easily to any of your existing templates or create a new template and include this component monitor. Partially agree, however what I want is to be able to send an email from an Exchange account to an external account and if it doesn't bounce back then it passes. Otherwise if it bounces back then it fails.

From what I can tell, the MAPI template is testing the ability to send and receive email from Exchange to Exchange.

In that case, can I suggest you look at the Blackberry Delivery Confirmation Script? It should get you going in the right direction.
