Palo alto active session monitoring

In our environment we are having different models of palo alto firewalls. My management asked me monitor those firewalls active session. I configured custom poller "panSessionActive" for this purpose.

I need to setup an alert which would trigger a email/page when panSessionActive goes above a particular value.

How to setup this alert? Please help.

Use the trigger condition as below, it worksperfectly: ( i want alert on "custom node pollert", condition- Unique name = pansessionactive, & value> Your threshold.

In alert Trigger condition , select alert for Universal device poller

In condition select UNDP poller name, in your case"pansessionactive" and give the value for which you want to trigger the alert.

This is how I have configured it.

But it is not working as expected. I am getting alerts even if panSessionActive is below "3145726".

Have you upgraded to NPM 12.5 yet you might not need that custom poller anymore.
