Dual homed devices

Hi,

I have a few servers and switches that are dual homed. So the interface that is on standby shows in NPM as down, hence Orion thinks there is something wrong and flashes that red dot on it.

Is there a way to tell orion to still monitor this interface, but dont report on it if it's down?

Unfortunately, that can't be done at this time.   You could use custom properties and filter out the offending interfaces.

then how do people stop the red flashing dot when it's reporting interfaces that are dualhomed?

It's not possible to use SNMP only.
