I would like to implement my change control portion of NCM, so far i've configured it and it's working. I am just wondering if its capable to submit a change control without necessarily inputting anything into the script? The reason i ask is we would like to keep track of changes submitted and approved. However for things like our Palo Alto's because we are not yet comfortable with executing scripts to it we would like just submit a generic change control with all the changes requested listed in the notes portion that gets approved. So far what i've done is created a "Generic Change Control Script" that is just an exit command. And we input all the changes we want to do in the notes portion of it. Is there a better way to do this?
I'd essentially like it if there was a "Submit For Change" button somewhere and you can go through the whole process of submitting without putting anything in the script field.
