We have a .NET app where an Internet user logins into a web site, makes a payment or browses billing info.
The HQ .NET web server is in a DMZ and the processing .NET server (authentication & billing info with an Oracle database) is off site at the far end of an MPLS VRF site.
The Internet user is experiencing errors like can't log on or can't get billing info. And the Event Logs of the HQ .NET server will log errors like Can Not Contact Host or else Timeouts.
Is there anything within APM or another product of Solarwinds which might be best to troubleshoot this?
I'm not certain this is a packet-drop issue, DNS issue or TCP issue. I assume .NET always uses TCP port 80.
Any thoughts or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
