Netflow Monitoring in outbound direction

I am trying to set up NetFlow on a router interface for traffic initiated in the outbound direction. Is this possible? Under the interface, if I configure "ip flow ?" the only option is ingress.

Cisco only support egress/outbound flow collection on certain devices, but I don't recall which ones off the top of my head.

If your device does not support the "egress" option, then you'll likely have to enable NetFlow collection on other interfaces that would "see" the desired outbound traffic.
