Manage Entities - Edit Row Properties

Just - finally - upgraded to the latest and greatest Orion Core 2018.2 HF6, NNM 12.3, SAM 6.7.0 WPM 2.2.2

I'm getting used to the new Manged Entities View.

I keep switching back and for, I'm happy for that option because I still like the (more compact) display of the the legacy page. Although I do love the added functionality of the new view.

Anyways, can anyone tell me what the Edit Row Properties option in the More drop down is for?

Every time I click it my page open up to the Magic Rubik's cube

and just hangs...... like forever.

Figured before I open a support call I'd see if anyone has run into this.

My Googling, and Thwack searches have been fruitless.

Lets you decide what you can add to your view, such as Custom Properties or System Properties

I still get the the continuously spinning Rubik's cube. I'll need to open a support call since I think that option would be useful, and adding columns to the display is the primary reason I haven't switched to using the new Manage Entities View.

Any update? I have the same issue...

rderouss I worked with support for almost three hours this week.. Rebuilt website and then collect logs and used Chrome Dev console to grab errors. I just a a response saying issue was duplicated and is resolved in NPM 12.4.

So the good news is supposedly I could fix it. The bad news is I can't go to 12.4 yet because all my infrastructure is still running on Server 2012 and SQL 2012 and I don't have any shiny new 2016 licenses yet.

I'm pushing support a bit since the Managed Entities feature was part of the 12.2 release and that was supported on Serve 2012.

Thanks for the update! I just updated to SAM 6.7.1 and it appears this is the equivalent of NPM 12.4 however I still see the same issue. Guess I'll open a ticket. I also have another issue where the My Orion Deployment does not show any data either, except for the first tab with the Servers.

rderouss The case was closed and the issue was posted as a bug. My case Number was 00224118. Maybe if more people open a ticket they will escalate

I just updated from 12.1 to 12.4 last night. Had to build 3 new Windows 2016 servers to jump since previous 2 servers ran Windows 2012. Third server is expansion as I now need three polling servers. All seems to be running except for the same issue as the original post. The cube just sits there. I'm going to submit a ticket.

I'm curious if your logs show a SQL timeout every time you get that eternal Rubik's cube.
