SNMPv3 on Windows Server 2003

I'm not sure if anyone has requested this but does anyone like the idea of using the more secure SNMPv3 with Windows Server 2003 than the less secure SNMPv2 or SNMPv1? I spent a couple of days doing plenty of research, trial-and-error, and was finally able to get a working version of SNMPv3 on Windows Server 2003. If anyone is interested in this, I will post a document I wrote on how to get it up and working.

Which SNNPv3 agent did you use? If you found some gotcha's other's should be aware of... go 4 it :}

One good thing about the newer version of Net-SNMP:

As of Net-SNMP 5.4, the Net-SNMP agent is able to load the Windows
SNMP service extension DLLs by using the Net-SNMP winExtDLL extension

I used the latest version of Net-SNMP and SNMP Informant (better performance counters for disk usage and memory usage). Configuring the snmpd.conf file can be tricky but I was able to get a user with authentication and encryption to work.

I was wondering if you could post that document for setting up a snmpv3 user on a windows machine. I have it working with no encryption, but have not been able to go any further.
