Copy Cisco IOSXE via TFTP using NCM

I found a old topic regarding this that was recently updated. however it stated it was regarding IOS and not IOSXE. I am trying to figure out how to copy a new code to multiple cisco devices at once. I have maybe 3 different codes that are going to push out to multiple 4510R+E's and 4507R's depending on their SUP's. I can easily do this 1 at a time using solarwinds tftp installed on my workstation but its so time consuming every time I need to do a upgrade I'd like to try and simplify this. thanks

One way to speed things up is to use FTP vs TFTP.

Ok, guessing you need a bit more guidance as your not even trying to say what method your attempting to use.

If you want to do it via NCM because you have a ton of them, use a "Config Change Template". I believe the one I used was a shared config change template from Thwack called "Cisco IOS upgrade for NCM Template via TFTP, SCP or FTP" by Sean.Martinez. There are a few you can choose from in the shared templates library though.

I recommend using FTP as either TFTP or SCP was way too slow to me, both in using the script OR manually.

I also don't recommend using Microsoft's FTP server as it was >VERY< slow starting the FTP process. Something like FileZilla reduced the time needed per device to a fraction of what it was before.
