NPM rediscovery

Hi on all our datacenter switches we had CPU issue due to NPM rediscovery (every 30 mins cpu at 80% due to snmp process).

We inceased the default rediscovery interval to two weeks but is there a way to cancel the rediscovery at all?

Have you tried disabling the discovery jobs? Or add the affected switches to the discovery ignore list?

There's another thread for this too, go to the manage nodes -> tick datacenter switch -> list resources and untick the topology Layer 3 (or both). Worked with some Cisco and Nortel gear.
