Generating interfaces and linking them to nodes and to each other

Hello,

Being new to using Solarwinds, i was wonderng if you could help me with this matter.

Basically i am creating a new map and on this particular one i am trying to supervise a few interfaces on one of the nodes that are linked to other interfaces on another node.

A few issues come up at this point :

- Not all my interfaces are present on the tree on the side even though they are all recognized on the web interface and are manageable.

- the interfaces that do exist can not be linked to other objects.

I would very much appreciate it if anyone could guide me through the solution to my issue especially since this map is essential for a major part of my network.

hello again,

I solved my issue and i'm back just in case somebody had the same question.

- we deleted the node and re-entered it. it was a polling issue and was solved instantly when we re-entered the node so the interfaces needed and declared were all there.

- manually linking the interfaces to the nodes and other solarwinds objects automatically affects the link to the needed interfaces.
