How to remove hardware sensors from server which got virtualized?

Some physical servers got virtualized and then their hardware sensors became N/A or undefined, like below (Hardware Detailes pane):

Hardware Status	Undefined
Message	Hardware polling failed: Error 31002 - Invalid OID-1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1.300.10.1.8.1-ValueType-OID_TYPE_NOSUCHOBJECT
Manufacturer	Dell Inc.
Model	PowerEdge 2950

Is there any other way to remove Hardware Health from server than remove server and add it back? If NO, then I will lost statisctics for the server because virtual server get the same IP.

Any ideas?

Hello,

There is no way how to remove it from UI in this case (situation when the server was moved to virtual environment). But you can do it directly in the database. In the APM_HardwareInfo table you can set the IsDisabled column to 1 for the specified node. This should remove the polling job (after few seconds) and hide all Hardware Health resources for this node on the UI.
