MPE/APE .NET compatibility

In regards to .NET framework on the MPE and its supported APEs, to what level do they need to match. If we have .NET 4.7.2 on the MPE, do the APEs need to be at least 4.7.### or will APEs with 4.6.### be compatible?

The .NET version running on your scalability engines must match the version running on the main poller. If you have .NET 4.7.2 running on your main poller, you must also have .NET 4.7.2 running on your scalability engines.

Microsoft has made security and encryption changes between .NET versions which cause compatibility issues between two .NET application running on different systems using different .NET versions.
