Got a new customer who has a lot of IP based Alcatel PBX platforms and wants us to monitor for:
Up down of the voice application
MOS
Latency and voice quality
Platform system logs - pull info from the PBX re utilisation stats beyond just CDR records
Alarms and alerts - like ISDN card up or site has gone into stand alone mode, trunks down ,blades down , handsets off line.
Can find a lot on CISCO in this regard but not much on other voice platforms.
I was told I would have to use another product from Integrated research called Prognosis.
Any one out there got any experience with Alcatel product on Solar Winds?
