REST api only works for "admin" user

The REST api works great when using the "admin" user of SW. However, I am unable to use any other account for the REST api. Even after making this user an administrator, node manager and NCM admin. This happen for both local accounts as AD accounts.

All requests to https://....:17778/SolarWinds/InformationService/v3/Json result in http 403.

Whereas the exact same requests succeed when using the "admin" user.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere ?

How are you testing the call? There should be no difference between accounts, here you can see the guest account authorizing and returning data.

I am running queries with Postman. For example:

https://{{sw_host}}:17778/SolarWinds/InformationService/v3/Json/Query?query=SELECT Table, Field, Value

FROM Orion.CustomPropertyValues

WHERE Table='NodesCustomProperties'

Using basic authentication. The "admin" user gets data while a new user gets immediately 403's. Even though this user has admin rights and node management rights.

It's as if this new user has to be authorized to use the REST api somehow.

My bad. There was a blank in front of the user name. It only showed when I enable the logs.
