APM Credentials for Windows 2003-2008 WMI

I have a domain admin account but still cannot access some of the Windows 2003-2008 template items when I test the connection. They are

Distributed Transaction Coordinator
Network Connections
Protected Storage
Remote Registry

Anyone have any ideas how to get access to these items from APM? Is there a specific Local Security Policy preventing this?

Are any of the other service monitors down? If so, please list them. Also, which ones are up? List those as well please. You may want to ensure that RPC service is enabled.

We have a very similar issue with the same services - out of 841 servers, about 100 suffer from this. Were you able to find a resolution?

Are these services actually running on the server or are they stopped? What is the error you receive when you hover your mouse over the orange "Info" image for these component monitors on the Application Details page?

I perhaps should have done a little more research on my end before posting, but here are my findings:

- Credentials are OK

- DTC is a PITA anyway and it appears to be a mixed bag of up and down as far as the services are concerned. Case in point, most all MS clusters stop this service on the passive node, thus impacting the state of the server in APM (still waiting for cluster awareness!

- Protected Storage is not used in our organization and was a mixed bag of on and off on the servers - we are fixing that.

- Network Connections, however, doesn't seem to register as "Up" when started on a 2008 box, but does appear to on a 2003 server. Still playing with this one.

Yes, it's important to know if APM returns message, that service is not found or if it returns a message, that service is not running (is stopped). I have recently ran into issue, where some services (like Network Connections for example) are not remotely visible through WMI if you are connecting as non-admin user.
