Custom properties not showing when building alert triggers

I'm wanting to set up some alerts using custom properties, but none of the custom properties I've created are showing when building triggers conditions.This also applies when using any of the built in advanced properties, such as the volume properties mentioned in this article: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-169054. The CP's are available when editing nodes/volumes, so they are working, but if I create a "Simple Condition" and select "Network Nodes" -> "Custom Properties" the only option I'm given is "Custom", which then leaves me with a blank drop down box.

I'm not sure if there's anything I need to do to get these to populate the trigger condition menus in Alert Manager? I might be missing something obvious with this issue, but I've not been able to find an answer here or via Google...which makes me think this stuff is just supposed to work and I'm experiencing a problem.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Ticket logged and a successful outcome reached.

It simply turned out I needed to run Advanced Alert Manager as local admin, despite already being an admin on the server.

I don't have an answer on why your alert is not working but just for reference, my custom attributes show up "automatically".

I added a new attribute and it showed up when I reopened the Advanced Alert Manager app.

So my vote is that you are experiencing a problem.

Yeah I'm starting to think there's a problem too. I just noticed if I try building a node status condition the drop down menu displays something like @{R=Core.Strings:K=StatusDesc_Up:E=xml} instead of just "Up".

I think a ticket is in order...
