APM monitor ORACLE DB

Hi all

I have oracle db installed on windows 2008 r2. I download latest evaluation version of APM to test how its looks.

In APM I configure NODE with ORACLE but its throws me error that i need some oracle software I installed file: ODAC101040.exe

and error change now its showing me error ORA-06413.

What should I do to start working this monitoring?

As I understand it, you'll need to have the Oracle client installed on the same box as APM. Check out the following knowledge base article for instructions:

I reinstall apm, install oracle client from solarwinds page.

Now i have error about TNSNAMES.ORA that he cant resolve but i dont have such file.

error is :

ORA-12514

I believe the TNSNAMES.ORA file is a configuration file that stores the connection information to your Oracle databases. At this point, you're probably going to need to ping your Oracle DBA for assistance with this file.

The TNS names file is on the Oracle database. If you are getting that error it generally means that the Destination point type and point name are not configured correctly. You need to look at the tnsnames file on the oracle server to configure. This should help:

Thank you for replay but I think this is not the solution because I installed on APM server Oracle OLE DB Driver and in Net Assistant I creat connection and test returns me SUCCESFULL.

For now I have:

installed APM ,

install OracleClient from Solarwinds webpage,
install OLEDB drivers,

added node and asign oracle monitor.
On test in Solarwinds recaive error: ORA-12514

On test in Oracle Nerwork Monitor I have SUCCESFULL
