I have tens of Cisco devices, identical settings (passwords, device types etc). Somehow NCM cannot backup the configuration of some of the devices, but others are successful. When I used telnet on "tranfer configs" option, everything worked but after changing that to tftp, some of devices cannot be backup. If I backup them straight (without schedule job) everything works ok. When I test job, I'm getting this messages from failed devices: "cannot start solarwinds tftp server". (btw, testing job somehow crashes every time, and I have to force NCM to shutdown after that. But that's the different story... now I'd just wanted to get backup back to work.)
Another question is why tftp server always automaticly changes root dir to c:\, when I try to use e:\. ?
Can I somehow reinstall tftp server that came with NCM, but without reinstalling the whole Orion?
