Temperature Text Transform?

I have a Barracuda load balancer that I would like to get the temperature off of...

The problem is that the OID value returns "28.0 degrees C"

I would like to know if there is a way to transform that into a normal number (remove the " degrees C" from the result)

I am using UnDP.  NPM version 10.

This is well identified as a requirement (9796) for UnDP and I don't think there is any workaround for it.
