Obtaining configs from Cisco Nexus 5010?

I noticed our NCM doesn't appear to be backing up the config from our newly installed Cisco Nexus 5010 platforms. There doesn't appear to be a device template. NCM is reporting, "Cannot enter Enable Level 15 : % Invalid command at ^ marker. Device IP: 10.0.0.4".

I checked the Content Exchange and searched for "Nexus", didn't find any templates. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

From what I understand from the PM, this is slated to be supported in a future release, but is available to be tested right now. Would you be interested in that? Let me know and I'll get your info over to the PM.

We run NCM V6.0 DL 500 and successfully use it capture configs from our Nexus 5020's using the Auto Determine device command template. Our 5K's run at version 4.1(3)N2(1a).

If NCM can successfully connect to your 5010's, and the credentials are good for login and snmp, one would expect NCM to be able to properly discover the device and inventory it, and then be able to download its configuration files.

Are the 5010's so much different than the 5020's that NCM doesn't work properly with 5010's?

We were having a similar issue where where the enable login was erroring out. We changed the "enable login" setting to none. That solved our issue.

Could anyone please explain what is the original cause for this problem?Is the Enable level password is different from

Solarwinds setting to the real-device? or is this a bug in solrwinds tool?

Please correct me if i am wrong.

When you telnet to the real device, you do not need to enter enable mode. Thus you have to configure Solarwinds for the same i.e. No Enable Login.
