Request for additional functionality - Config Change Report

The report has a haphazard method of reporting individual devices and status.

What I would like to have:

sorting (my choice of node sorting)
Result status. The daily report is very long and I would like an option of NOT reporting "no changes". I view this report as an exceptions report and only need notification if a change has occured.

I agree on this request for functionality. I am demoing the product as a possible replacement and this could be a deal breaker for me.

Also, is there a way to get the report to HTML instead of plain text? The report is not very professional looking.

NCM version 5 is capable of e-mailing reports in html. Earler versions did not support this.
The option for file output is html. There are no replacable parameters if you want to date each file.

There are no options for exporting any reports as a pdf.

Almost exacty 3 years ago we were to "get that in on one of the upcoming releases"

E.g.

1. Provide option of NOT reporting "no changes"

2. Send report as a PDF attachment

3. Send report as a MHTML attachement

4. Provide options for sorting (please describe desired options)

I would suggested the priority just as you listed above.

Best. Options 2 and 3 would affect every report generated by NCM, providing the best solution for the entire package.

Better,
Option 1. for this report This option would solely affect this report and provide a level of filtering. If this was implemented I could live with an un-sorted list; because it would the reduce the report to a handful of devices.

Overall, and completely wonderful, would be to utilize the wealth of features in NMP's report writer which provides, heirarchical, filtering, and sorting for the reports.
