Netflow Historic data

Hi, we've been asked to store Netflow data for at least 90 days but I'm concerned that this will have a detrimental effect on our NPM.

Can you answer a couple of questions?

1: Is it feasible to store Netflow data for 90 days? (we currently store data for 14days).

2: Will this slow down Orion NPM performance?

3: Can the Netflow data be stored on a separate server and DB to that of NPM?

Yes, but performance depends on how much NetFlow data you have. How large in NetPerfMon now? How many NetFlow sources do you have?

2: Will this slow down Orion NPM performance?

It could. Check out these recommendations for minimizing impact.

3: Can the Netflow data be stored on a separate server and DB to that of NPM?

No. This is not possible today.
