HTTP Monitor DNS Lookup Failed

I have a standard HTTP monitor on one of my servers that was running fine until recently. The check is the standard HTTP (http://${IP}:${PORT}/).

The output is "DNS Lookup Failed". I am curious what exactly is this looking up?

When I put that in my browser using the correct IP and port it works just fine.

In this case you should open a support case so our guys can take a look on log files and determine where problem can be.

Are you applying this to a dynamically addressed (has the 'dynamic' box checked) node by chance?

No, all of our nodes are statically addressed.

do you have proxy set? This error can occur if:

a) you specify hostname that can't be resolved - you have IP so this is not the case

b) proxy server hostname can't be resolved

No, proxy is set to False.

This error has been infuriating our apps team for years now.

Has anyone ever figured this out?
