Solarwinds - ServiceNow Event Management

Hello guys,

I am on servicenow event management where i have OOB connector os solarwinds which pulls all events from Solarwinds. And on that events i have to write some rule to identify and generate alert for that event. that rule is mainly defined on description of alert.

I am not able to see the Volume and CPU/ Memory events on event console of solarwinds.

can anyone help me on this?

i dont have any alert configuration. i have to make alert configuration on service now side with the help of event. like i am getting event for service down and etc.

From your last statement stating "you are not able to view CPU/Mem events on Solarwinds console", what i understood is that you dont have such events configured. And hence i asked abt alert configuration...

let me explain - I have to configure alert rule on servicenow side. what i am doing, i am getting all events from solarwinds and configuring alert rule on requirement basis at servicenow side only.

So event generation happend only after alert configuration on solarwind side?

i got your SNOW part...

according to me whatever u are getting currently in SNOW is because those alerts will be configured at solarwinds level...

I would suggest that u check in solarwinds once as those events get logged onto console due one action configured inside an alert...
