We have an Application that provides services internally and external through various ports; we would like to monitor accessibility to these ports both internally and externally within APM. However, we can't seem to figure out how we would go about with the external monitoring.
Based on the various search results through the forums, it seems that we would to add the server as an external node and apply the templates to this. Is this the only option to get this done? We're are a bit hesitant with this approach as this may over complicate the situation with duplicated set of information.
