Applying Licenses to the NPM Trail Version

Hi All,

I have a query, where I am in a situation, I got the servers and waiting for a licensing of solarwinds which would take some time.

I am planning to deploy the Network Monitoring components NPM, NTA and an additional polling engine.

Can I start deploying NPM on the servers using the Trail version and later apply the licenses to it ?

If Yes, once I get the licenses how can I apply the licenses to the existing Environment ?

Do we any limitations or will not get some features using Trail versions ?

Please help here.

Hi Sri,

You would be fine to go ahead and install now. The trial licenses are all for 30 days. Once you have the license you would go to the "All Settings" page in Orion and at the bottom you will see license manager where you can easily update your license with the key once you have it. Hope this helps!
