Hello All,
We recently purchased NCM mainly to handle the backups of configs across 50 or so regions or districts. Currently when users login to NCM, we have an account limitation set so they only see devices for which they manage. We installed and setup NCM (along with the integration) yet the account limitation doesn't seem to have any impact. When a user logs in and selects the 'Config' tab, we expected them to see the devices they manage just as they do in NCM and NTA. Instead, they're asked to enter user credentials. This isn't the end of the world, assuming we we create user accounts for each of the locations and either provide them with the credentials or, preferably, update the database directly. Alternatively, we'll need to give them access to archive folder where their configs are stored. If anyone else has tackled this scenario, I'd be interested to hear your about your experiences. I'm new to NCM but looking forward to working with it to address our config management needs.
Best,
Kevin
