NTA 2.2 fails to start after upgrade

After upgrading to Orion 8.5 and NTA 2.2 the NTA service fails to start with the following error:

Service cannot be started. System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040154): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {C24183C7-F5D1-4AFE-BF5A-607B5C54A589} failed due to the following error: 80040154.
   at SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.Licensing.CheckLicense()
   at SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.AppContext.Initialize()
   at SolarWinds.Orion.NetFlow.Service.NetFlowService.OnStart(String[] args)
   at System.ServiceProcess.ServiceBase.ServiceQueuedMainCallback(Object state)

Try going into Add/Remove Programs and running the 'Repair' option for your Orion installation. This particular COMException with error code 80040154 indicates that a COM component isn't registered on your system; running the repair will re-register all the COM components that we install.

I tried that, thanks. I had to restart the server to complete the installation, then I got the following messages in the event log:

During installation of this component into a COM+ application a registry value was changed from its original value. If you are experiencing activation problems with this component then please check the registry values.C:\Program Files (x86)\Solarwinds\Orion\OrionNPMWeb.dll
CLSID\{8347C2C6-767C-464D-BC47-7609567CEF7E}\VERSION

Process Name: RunDll32.exe
Comsvcs.dll file version: not loaded

This was repeated many times for different registry keys, but all had the same error attached.

Then the Netflow service failed to start with the same error as in the previous post.

I noticed the "Program Files (x86)" - you're running a 64-bit OS. This is a known issue regarding the NetFlow service on 64-bit OSes that we are actively working on. The next hotfix for NTA should contain the fix for this issue.

I too am having the same issue. How long before a fix? Is there anything that we can do to make this work, uninstalling?? Why was'nt this tested before releasing or at least adding a "warning" to not install on 64bit?
